Šohajka is a cozy mountain log cottage offering simple but honest accommodation right in the heart of the Krkonoše Mountains. You’ll find us in a quiet corner of the national park, surrounded by nature yet just a short walk from the center of Pec pod Sněžkou.

The cottage sits on a northern slope with stunning views of Studniční hora and the surrounding landscape. In winter, you can look forward to excellent snow conditions; in summer, to long, sunny evenings on a nearby terrace.

Want to bring your four-legged friend to the mountains? No problem here – your adventure with your dog can start right away. Far from the roads, in the quiet of the forest, where you’ll hear nothing but the wind, birds, and the occasional bleating of sheep.

ŠOHAJKA RESTAURANT

In our cozy dining room at the Šohajka log cottage, meals feel just like at grandma’s – people gather around one big table, just like in the old days. We’ll bring you a wooden board with appetizers, a terrine of hot soup, and the main dish served in a cast-iron pot or casserole placed in the center of the table – and it’s up to you how much you serve yourself.

We cook honestly, simply, and with love. Traditional Czech dishes that warm the soul and bring back childhood memories. In the evening, the bar stays open for anyone who wants to linger a little longer – over tea with rum, a beer, or a glass of homemade syrup.

ORLÍK RESTAURANT

As guests of Šohajka, you have a unique advantage – you can choose where to enjoy your meals. The Orlík restaurant, located just a short distance from Šohajka, offers a different dining experience with a modern take on meals. Instead of traditional serving, you can enjoy a hotel buffet with a wide selection of dishes. There is also a great variety of wines and a cocktail bar to unwind after a day full of mountain adventures.

Whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or want to explore new flavors, the Orlík restaurant provides a modern and comfortable experience with flexibility and comfort that you’ll love.

SUN TERRACE

Guests of Šohajka have free access to the terrace of the nearby Orlík lodge, offering a stunning view of Pec pod Sněžkou and the Krkonošské ridges.

In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast in the fresh mountain air, have a drink in the afternoon sunshine, and in the evening, watch the sunset behind the mountains. The terrace is the perfect spot for moments of peace or gathering with friends – an atmosphere you won’t forget.

LOG COTTAGE WITH WELLNESS

Are you tired after a hike or a whole day on the slopes? Or do you just want to treat yourself to a little peace and quiet? Guests of Šohajka enjoy wellness access at no extra charge in the neighboring Orlík lodge – sauna, hot tub, and views that are truly worth it.
